Your questions

1. How does it work?

Choose the equipment you need and select your rental dates on the schedule and the time when you wish to pick up and return the material.

Then select your point of withdrawal or home delivery. Please note: in case of delivery, the price indicated does not take into account extra costs. These will appear when you choose the place of delivery.

If your basket is complete you can validate it and create your customer account, if it is not done yet.

Then confirm your order and proceed with payment. A summary email specifying the equipment rented, the rental dates and the place of withdrawal will be sent to you.

Beware, in case of payment by check or by transfer, the order will be validated only upon receipt.

If you have chosen home delivery, BBVM will contact you by email or telephone to set an appointment.

Otherwise, present yourself on Day D at our partner with your order confirmation and pick up your equipment.

2. What is the delay between my order and the delivery?

Our equipment is available at each partner, so you can make your reservation online and pick it up within minutes. However it is advisable to book a week before (and even earlier in high season) to be sure to get the desired product on the dates you chose.

Regarding home delivery, everything will depend on the availability of the items on the delivery schedule. BBVM responds to you within a maximum of 48 hours.

In case of an unavailable product, BBVM refunds you in full.

3. I wish to rent a baby hiking carrier, can I pick it up the day before?

At BBVM, a rental day is equal to 24 hours. Therefore a baby hiking carrier picked up the day before at 6:00 PM must be returned no later than the next day at the same time. So, yes, it is possible to take it the day before.

When making a reservation, you can select the pick-up and return schedules.

4. Where can the equipment be picked up?

Our equipment is available at our partners, whose contact details can be found in the tab « Relay Partners  and Delivery Rates ». BBVM performs  delivery on the Basque Coast and the Southern Landes

On simple request, the equipment can be sent anywhere in France (excluding Corsica and Overseas Departments). Just contact us by email or telephone. According to the weight of the rented articles, you will be informed of the delivery/return rate

5. Is the return included in the delivery rate?

Yes the delivery rate includes the return.

It is also possible to choose the delivery, or the recovery only in the case where the withdrawal or the return is performed at a Partner. This option can not be paid online. You will have to make your request by email or telephone.

6. Do I have to clean the equipment before returning it?

You are not required to uncover and clean the equipment. BBVM and its partners handle its maintenance. However, the equipment entrusted to you was given clean and in working condition. You are therefore requested to return it in the same condition. In case of heavy stains, a fixed amount of 20 € may be required.

7. I want to extend my rental, what should I do?

Simply contact BBVM by email or phone. If the equipment has not been re-rented, you will be able to extend your rental. BBVM will calculate the difference between the time you have already settled and the amount of the total final rental term. As the site does not allow you to pay for an extension, you will have to pay the amount requested by check or transfer to BBVM.

8. Can the equipment be rented directly from a Partner?

Our Partners are custodians of the equipment and are not authorized to accept payments. All reservations must be paid in advance to BBVM.

9. The Relay Point is closed for holidays, what should I do ?

If the Relay Partner where you wish to pick up your equipment is closed for holidays, only home delivery is possible. It is ensured by BBVM on the Basque Coast for 15 € (delivery and pick-up) and in the South Landes for 20 € (delivery and return). A shipment and return Chronopost service is available throughout France.

10. The Relay Point is closed the day of my arrival or departure, what should I do?

You can request a delivery or a return only to the address of your choice for 10 € on the Basque Coast and 15 € in the South of the Landes.  When booking, select the Partner where you want to withdraw or return the material and, in the “comment” space (en commentaire) enter the request for delivery or recovery only. Payment for this service will be made to the delivery person or in advance to BBVM in case of a shipment by Chronopost.

11. The Deposit

A deposit will be required for each rented product. After the validation of your order an email will be sent requesting you to to post it online. This is only a guarantee deposit, you are not charged the amount. Only the non-return of rented equipment or its deterioration may be subject to a partial or total debit.
